Many Dodge Vehicles Make an Argument To Be Your Next Purchase!
There are many car companies which just blend together. They produce average vehicles that are average in plenty of ways. This is not necessarily a bad thing. The average vehicle these days is much more advanced than they used to be. They are full of safety features and can provide more than adequate transportation for a lot of people.
For people who want their car to be more than just transportation though, Dodge is one of the most appealing brands in the world. Dodge vehicles have an identity. In a generation where vehicles are becoming more fuel efficient and less powerful, Dodge has pivoted away from that. Their vehicles are strong, powerful, loud and fun!

1 - Dodge Challenger
The Challenger really starts to pour forth power if you choose the optional 375 hp or 485 hp Hemi engines. That’s assuming there’s no need to go all the way for the Hellcat or Demon versions that are just ridiculous. For a muscle car, the Challenger offers up a lot more comfort than one might expect. The cost starting around $30,000 is impressive as well. However, like most pony cars, the interior does not feature really high end materials. Comfortable, but not pretty. The handling can also be a bit lazy since it’s been built for straight line speed. One final benefit is that it looks fantastic.
2 - Dodge Ram
Okay, yes, technically the Ram truck line no longer uses the Dodge nameplate. However, this sub brand started as a dodge and certainly still counts as one! The Ram 1500 has been an incredibly great truck for several years, but some Chevy and Ford enthusiasts have missed that fact. The interior of the Ram 1500 is jaw dropping. It is incredibly plush and looks like it belongs in an SUV two to three times the price! Despite that, it’s still exciting to get dirty and down to the business of work. Like most American pickup trucks, there’s a wide range of drivetrain options including the iconic Hemi. If there’s anything bad to be said about the Ram 1500, it’s that it can be a bit more expensive than the competition and can rise at times. It’s also a bit heavier than some competitors, due to the extra size that it has. But overall, the Ram 1500 is quite simply an incredible truck.
3 - Dodge Charger
The Charger somehow manages to turn a four door sedan into a glorious tribute to exciting driving. The Charger really is a statement in refusal to compromise. The baseline V6 is perhaps most subdued than is expected, but there are great options available. In V8 form. The Scat Pack trim has a 485 horsepower V8 that offers up an incredible 0-60 time of only 4.1 seconds! Try pulling that off in another family sedan with the kind of room that’s inside the Charger. One disappointment can be the lack of all wheel drive with the V8. Not everyone is comfortable with an old school rear wheel drive screamer like the Charger. Pricing is fantastic on the Charger. Trim models run from $31,400 to $42,000, meaning most people can afford a Charger of their own in some capacity.
4- Dodge Durango
When it comes to the SUV market, the Dodge Durango continues to be a strong option. Starting around $32,000, the Durango offers excellent power and more acceleration than most of the competition. That power also allows it to tow more than competitors as well. The Durango is especially potent if you opt for the 5.7 liter Hemi V8. If there’s a downside to the Durango, it’s one common to Dodge vehicles. The engines are always thirsty for more petrol! Also, the third row is an option that needs to be paid for, whereas most vehicles in this class simply add it as a biasc option.
